Unplanned trip Kumbakonam to Madurai A Sudden U-Turn Home
October 11, 2025, 12:19 a.m. I've just started writing this blog post. This whole adventure started moments ago at the Kumbakonam Chaiwala tea shop. The conversation, initially covering random things, suddenly turned to a weekend outing . Each of us pitched a different place. I suggested Karaikal Beach . My friend Jayakumar mentioned Thanjavur and Trichy . Jeroen put forward Madurai . Suddenly, everyone accepted Madurai... except one friend, Vigneswaren , who told us, "No, I'm not coming. You guys go." The conversation happened between 11:20 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. For the next 10 to 15 minutes, we tried to convince him. Finally, he accepted! After everyone went home, we made plans to meet at the railway station in the morning.
